Teaching

One of my proudest achievements from my time at LSU is having been awarded the David Oxley Graduate Student Teaching Award. This is the highest honor awarded by the Department to graduate students for teaching.

For each of the following courses, I served as sole Instructor of Record. I was completely responsible for my course and my students, meaning I prepared the syllabi, delivered every lecture, wrote and graded every exam, and assigned final grades.

For the following course, I served as Instructor of Record within the Roadmap to Redesign (R2R) program at LSU. This is a hybrid learning model instituted for lower-level math classes similar to what exists at many larger universities around the country; students attend lectures from their instructors, but complete all homework, quizzes, and exams online. Students are also required to spend a certain number of hours per week in the LSU MathLab, a large computer lab where they can complete their assignments and get help from the tutors working there. The duties involved in teaching this course include delivering the lectures, tutoring in the LSU MathLab, and assigning final grades.

Course Evaluations

Listed below are complete collections of my students' comments on the course evaluation forms for each of the courses I taught. These forms are completely anonymous and are not shared with me until after final grades have been submitted. In the interest of avoiding cherry-picking, I have not edited or removed any evaluations. Any prospective employers can be furnished official copies upon request.
